Bitcoin Buyer – Trader’s Crypto Trading Bot Review

Crypto Reviews

We live in the era of Bitcoin. The very name – Bitcoin – evokes an image of an enigmatic, cryptic (!) yet very lucrative endeavor. Bitcoin Trading surely sounds like an exclusive club of people who know a secret to a wise investment.

And it’s not an entirely wrong point of view, Bitcoin trading is a big deal right now. Despite the temporary dip in the markets, the sheer volume of trade, the exciting volatility does present many opportunities for those who can navigate their way through the markets.

As far as the scam websites go, Bitcoin Buyer can’t be googled. There is no web address for it, and paid reviews (swearing it’s not a scam) point to a very old layout with a wrong logo (it says BitcoinTrader).

Bitcoin Buyer actually doesn’t market as a trading platform or a bot. It just states that you can become a trader once you join and that you can earn money with a few minutes (no more than 20 minutes) of work a day.

Full review of how to use

Bitcoin Buyer lures you with something we all want. Change in life. Better life. Improving our lot in this world. There is a wonky video from Bloomberg TV presenting Bill Gates and Richard Branson giving an interview. They don’t speak about the platform, of course, it’s just there to stoke the fires of your imagination wondering how nice would it be to become a millionaire.

Bitcoin Buyer strays from the usual scam formula of promising return of investment, super technological techno buzz about crypto trading, machine learning, trading bot, etc. It is a one-page vague invitation to join some club which only implies that there will be money earned.

What will happen is, that you leave your contact info. You get buggered by an aggressive “broker” agent and then you lose your $250 deposit. Simple as that. User reviews clearly indicate this.

Bitcoin Buyer – What is this trading bot

Bitcoin Buyer is not a trading bot. Scammers use review sites to sell the idea that the website in question is just a great chance for investment. While the website itself doesn’t reveal what Bitcoin Buyer is, the review claims it’s an automated crypto trading platform.

Automated crypto trading platforms, well they don’t really exist. Gives you the big red flag right there, because there are crypto exchanges, which allow you to trade. There are lending platforms but they require cryptocurrency deposits. Then they provide fixed interest or return of investment expressed as percentage annualized. If this was a real platform, they would provide info on the real method of how the revenue is generated, with APY (annualized percentage yield).

Bitcoin Buyer Application / Web Platform Review

Bitcoin Buyer’s website looks exactly like the website of known scammers. This is quite an old setup, though. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the new issue of this website resemble a more current copy and design.

The first part of the website presents a video, supposedly from Bloomberg TV, inserts from an interview with Bill Gates and Richard Branson, as two iconic millionaires who are often used as namedropping lures for fraudulent sites. Then there is an invitation to “join us and become a BTC Trader”.

A strip of logos displays BitGo, Norton, Secure Trading, and McAfee (another popular figure from the crypto space) is followed by bid and asking price, though is not clear what is offered and asked for that price.

Interesting is the disclaimer at the bottom, that clearly states your data will be transferred to third parties.

Security, licensing, and payments of Bitcoin Buyer

No security, licensing, or payments. After being redirected to another website and reached by agents who introduce themselves as brokers but have one goal alone, to pluck that deposit from your account, you will be pressured to deposit. If you allow them to get your number, they will just molest you, pushing you to do the deposit, and it’s not a paltry sum, it is $250.

Bitcoin Buyer – What do traders say?

Reviews on Trustpilot are scams as well, there are overly lavish words of praise by clearly fake accounts. How do we know that? Because they use exactly the same reviews across other scammer sites. Sadly, real reviews come from people tricked out of their deposits. Another red flag is the screenshot that Trustpilot uses for this site, showing that they were running another version of the web design layout, also copied from known scammers. Shows how scammers are just updating their web layouts once the old become recognized and connected with fraud.

Is Bitcoin Buyer legit? – Final verdict by traders

Scam. Everyone agrees. It’s obvious. The final verdict is a big fat scam, a scammy scam. Don’t invest here. You have better chances to get rich by knocking at Windsor palace and asking for million pounds.

Tips on checking whether a bot is legit or a scam

Namedropping

Always check if the website mentions celebrities. The most popular bait is Elon Musk, but there are others too, from Mark Lewis to LeBron, to Kanye West, to as we saw here – Gordon Ramsey.

Copy and Web design

Web design and layout for this kind of site are always the same. Not sure why. Even if they change the actual design (like Anon bot), the layout and the flow are the same. Some truths mixed with the lure of a quick return of investment.

No support, no contact

The red flag which reinforces the others is when there are no social media links, when you can’t contact the support or when there are no contacts other than a regular website e-mail form.

I think my life changed the day I learned about this amazing guy whom I share the name with – Aaron Savage. He was among the first people ever to advocate for freedom of information and the internet, and I feel he would support a great deal of decentralized finance idea if he was alive today. So, I am just another IT guy, super curious about crypto and writing my opinions and analyses here from time to time. Enjoy!
